2,067people in Saada benefit from multi-purpose cash assistance for the month of June

Disbursement of regular multi-purpose cash assistance to 2,067 families, including 1,687 displaced families, 151 families returning from displacement, and 229 host community families, has been completed in Saada Governorate.
Implemented during the month of June 2021, the Foundation (YDF) represented by the Community Center for the Displaced, funded by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
According to the reports of the Community Center for the Displaced, the total beneficiaries of the disbursement of the second and third installments for the year 2021, (15,716) people, including (4544) girls, (4533) children, (3543) women, and (3,096) men, from 14 districts in Saada Governorate.
The data of the community center confirmed that 96 of these beneficiaries suffer from serious diseases (heart attack, fluid in the brain, cancer and other diseases, while some of them need operations, and these serious diseases threaten their lives and need urgent medical intervention to save their lives).
Data analysis percentages showed that 2% of the beneficiaries were exposed to air strikes and were affected by shrapnel in all parts of their bodies. Therefore, they need operations to remove the shrapnel from their bodies to save their lives, and 2% of these beneficiaries had serious traffic accidents and were seriously injured and were under intensive care and this requires urgent medical treatment to save their lives.
