Ali Mohammed is a displaced and destitute householder who by the conflict is being encountering harsh living conditions. Adding to his extreme pain, he has a son who has thalassemia disease. Now, he lives in Sahar district with an overwhelming need for basic life requirements. After being assessed with vulnerability, he is now receiving his MP Cash Assistance. “Buying my son’s medicine and ‘Eid’s stuff were my biggest concerns that have already been solved” he told YDF team in the exchange point. My happiness is not describable; thank you for making my day” he added. Ali just after receiving his money, he behaved well and ran to the pharmacy and then to the grocery purchasing the essential items for his family. “Let me go home with the provisions to enter the joyfulness to their heart” Ali is saying goodbye to YDF reporting officer. Such outstanding work that opens doors to better life to many destitute households. UNHCR is the supporter of such extraordinary deeds through its implementing partner YDF in Saada governorate. The funded MP and RS assistances are being distributed to help IDPs mitigate of their continual suffering due to being displaced.
