Al-zra’i.a triple young man, exhausted by war and displaced

Hasan Muhammad al-Zari’i, 36 years old, lives in the Farwa area in the Sahar district of Saada governorate in the west of the country. He was forced to flee his home in the Kushar district of Hajjah governorate, when the armed conflict broke out in the district in 2017. He is a father of four children, and he has no source of income, except for What he earns from his daily work as an electrician, but his living conditions began to deteriorate, after he was exposed to a traffic accident that led to him having fractures in his hands and pelvis, which made him confined to the house suffering from displacement, and hardship of living. Pain and suffering with displacement and disease.
Hassan Al-Zarii says: "I am very tired of the situation that I have lived with my family since we were displaced from Hajjah, and I suffered a lot and could not rent an apartment in the city of Saada as a result of the high rental costs, so I had to live in this modest house on the outskirts of Sahar District."
He recalls the tragic experience he experienced upon displacement, “I had to work for the daily wage as an electrician and I struggled to provide the basics of the house. I worked most of the day, in order to educate my children, but after I was exposed to this accident, I became unable even to sit, I don't know what future awaits my children and my family."
When the volunteers of the community protection committees in the district of Sahar heard, they visited Hassan Al-Zari and referred him to the specialists in the community center for the displaced, who visited him and assessed his condition, and he was referred to and an emergency cash case was paid in the amount of "122" thousand.
The emergency cash assistance funded by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and provided by the Yemen Development Foundation is the only assistance he has currently received, which will help him pay for medicine and provide food for his family.
Al-Zari says: "This assistance gives us a little hope, and I hope that this assistance will be repeated as much as possible, because I want to go to receive treatment in order to recover my health and struggle to provide food for my children, and to continue their education, we want to live our lives with dignity, and to return To our home when the war is over.”
The Yemen Development Foundation provided emergency multi-purpose cash assistance, funded by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, to Hassan Al-Zari and his family, along with (82) people from the most vulnerable and displaced groups in Saada Governorate during the month of August 2021
