Shelter activities in the fourth quarter of 2020

Once again and in other districts of Saada governorate, Yemen Development Foundation (YDF) leads the humanitarian work through shelter activities as an institution that does not leave the humanitarian field for supporting the displaced, homeless and affected people who were forced by the conditions of the ongoing war to flee their own from its scourge and effects, as a lot of their homes and warmth places were destroyed and lost their sources of income, security and stability.

Yemen Development Foundation has spared no effort to provide the necessary support to the displaced families, alleviate their suffering, and help them overcome the difficulties and the living conditions they face as a result of wars and their devastating effects on citizens, as soon as YDF complete an activity here, it starts another activity there.

Here is its field team in the districts of Munabbih and Razih looking for the displaced and homeless people who left behind what they owned escaping with their lives to harmless places, even if they slept out on the ground covering their bodies by the sky and lived in the open, and despite the circumstances caused by the emergence and spread of the COVID19, but the impact of the moaning echo of the displaced and the groans of the homeless was  greater and stronger on the ears and hearts of the Foundation’s management and staff than the COVID pandemic, so they chose not to let them suffer the bitterness of displacement and the fear of the epidemic. Whoever is driven by humanity, nothing will stop him.

While many of the activities of humanitarian organizations and institutions were paralyzed as a result of the outbreak of the Corona virus, Yemen Development Foundation - with its field team - was present alongside with the displaced and the affected, as it targeted with Non-Food Items (NFIs) (2,138) displaced families in Munabbih and Razih during the last quarter of 2020.
