Assessment of the needs of 2079 families during the month of June and July in Saada

YDF represented by the Community Center for the Displaced, funded by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and in coordination with the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, was able to assess the needs of 2079 families from vulnerable situations, during the month of June and July 2021, of whom (1856) are males, and (223) female.
According to the analysis of the field survey team carrying out the survey and evaluation process in the community center, procedures for classifying the categories of vulnerability were carried out into three types of those targeted by the survey: “displaced persons, returnees from displacement, and a host community.”
The statistics of indicators analyzing the data issued by the community center of the Foundation (YDF) indicated that the number of internally displaced persons who were reached (1949) displaced families, 35 families returning from displacement, 95 families from the host community.
The statistic confirmed that the number of members of that family reached (13,822) people, including (2727) men, (3062) women, (4051) children, and (3982) girls, in 12 districts in Saada Governorate
The indicators for analyzing the data of the community center showed that the percentage of vulnerabilities that were evaluated is 57.4% for chronic diseases (diabetes, blood pressure, rheumatism, etc.), 13.5% for physical disabilities, and 12% for serious medical conditions (heart attack, cerebral attack, etc.). cancer, kidney failure, etc.), 9% of pregnant or breastfeeding women, 6.1% of heads of household, and 2% of mental disabilities.
