The start of disbursing the fifth batch of multi-purpose cash transfers in Saada

Today, Saada Governorate began disbursing the fifth batch of regular, multi-purpose cash assistance, which is implemented by the Yemen Development Foundation
During the start of the disbursement, Fawaz Al-Hamid, head of the Yemen Development Foundation, explained that the number of beneficiaries of the cash assistance that began to be disbursed is (453) families of displaced, affected, vulnerable and sick groups with funding from the High Commissioner for Refugees, and in coordination with the Supreme Council for the Administration and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the governorate.
Al-Hamid indicated that the Yemen Development Foundation, through the Community Center for the Displaced, provided multi-purpose cash assistance last June to (1687) families, from the displaced, the affected and the sick, who meet the standards of intervention agreed upon between the Foundation, the donor and the Supreme Council for the Administration and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the governorate.
He confirmed that the Foundation focuses on its interventions mainly in the governorate of Saada, as it is one of the governorates that have been severely affected, and needs interventions in various fields..
